"Chicken & Chips"
At one point in the film when Jim is trying to get booze he comes out the off licence and Teddy is eating chicken & chips. It looks like the box meals you get at KFC. Where they in Britain at that time.

The first KFC opened in Preston in May 1965. The first London branch was in North Finchley which opened in November 1968. In 1971 there were 31 throughout Britain, and by 1975 there were a staggering 250.
So the answer is yes!
The first McDonalds didn't open until 1974 in Woolwich, London, and there are now about 1200 branches in the UK.
I prefer a good old British Wimpy burger myself, opened in 1954 and survived the US invasion!
