I have viewed this movie again, and tried my hardest to see past the controversy, as opposed to violently suggesting that this is child porn.

This movie is a balls-out, honest, terrifying portrayal of this generation's youth. Childlike innocence, mixed with a naive growing up too fast, and not knowing the difference between right and wrong. This is exactly what kids of this age are getting up to, and their parents are none the wiser.
I would've liked to see interaction between the kids and their parents; a more in-depth look at their home lives. Sometimes this is the key to why kids are going out and doing things like this.
This movie shows youth as it is today, and the irony is that this movie would never see the light of day today.
This time around, I saw a lot more than kids having sex. I saw a sad tale of innocence corrupted, and the power of love.
Adolescent Malice: an apt translation.
A brave, honest piece of work, and I NEVER thought I would say that.

I'm glad to hear that you gave this very powerful film a second chance; it really is a shame to call this pornographic, when there is just so much more going on here. I wish more people could look past their judgements to see things as they really are..

I think it's too easy to judge on first appearances. Sometimes you need to look at things a little closer to see what's really there.

I like sexy 70's eurotrash and erotica but this movie doesn't fall into that catergory. Sure it's open to abuse but considering the vile state of modern just post-tween looking pornography there's plenty of less valid and more dangerous discs out there. I check the boards on this film occasionally because it's a fascinating and misrepresented movie and it's good to see it has some support.
