Uncut???
Does anybody know where I can get the uncut version of this movie in good quality?
shareCd I can tell you there is no uncut version for sale in the US legally, I have looked for this movie for half life time before I understood the politics involved with it being sold, if you found a copy not the original and could afford it, it would be not legal at all to buy or selling in the US, I know what I am talking about on this movie...one and only one was offered and it was in Germany that was suppose to be a original and he wanted $35,000 and you had to fly and pick it up then hoping to get back for many reasons I will not discuss here, forget the "uncut" version, it will get you in trouble for sure.....just asking about the "uncut" version, your local FBI office has one I am sure along with Spermula...not being a smart as* but I would NEVER ask what you did on any open forum after what I learned about the uncut version...the Japanese fogged version is where 99% of these are coming from and if you noticed it was halted even in Japan and for a reason.....they could not ship fast enough to the US to keep up with the demand (I have one) but all of a sudden it was off the market even in Japan and it was very popular there as well, no company that had a DVD that would sell for $125 would just stop making it available to John q public, and this was the edited version so what do you think would happen if "anyone" offered a "uncut version", 25 years for what? is what you would say...I would not buy the film knowing now what I have learned about the laws on this kind of unedited movie, just not worth it, there was a sex scene with actors under 18, well under 18, not much of a act but it is considered a sexual act and for geeeze sake do you really think it could be legal???? never!
shareTo answer cdssuck's original question, the "uncut" version you are looking for is the Capitol Video release in the 1980s. This is the Italian language version, with all the uncut scenes (the ones that are fogged in the Japanese DVD version).
The bad news is, this was a European video released in PAL format, so it does not play on American TVs unless you have an international PAL-NTSC VCR that can play foreign tapes.
No, you can't get this movie down at your corner Blockbuster. You can find this video on eBay or Yahoo! or other auction sites from time to time. Be prepared to bid a few hundred dollars (or Euros) if you are serious about buying the original. And make sure of what you are buying before you bid -- I've wasted hundreds of dollars on poor quality versions that are either edited, digitally fogged, or spliced from poor film prints.
You want to get the original Capitol Video release of "Maladolescenza" -- no other version is worth the money.
your local FBI office has one I am sure along with Spermula
hey man I know you wrote this a while back but just wanted to make something clear. did you say that guy was trying to sell an original uncut DVD for 35k? 35000? where did you read that? I read it's illegal in Europe but not here.
shareI purchased my copy from www.sazuma.com. They are selling it 4 Euros cheaper than www.t-m-shop.de and this is the uncut uncensored version in Italian with English subtitles and optional German audio. Image quality is very good (anamorphic widescreen). See also my review that compares the uncut version to the heavily censored theatrical version (warning: the review contains spoilers).
shareAt Sazuma, which version is the uncut one? They seem to have several versions available with different covers.
