I just dont get it..

somebody is going to have to explain this to me.

the boy wrestles the girl down and ties the girl up to a tree, he sits there and watches while she is screaming for him as a snake slithers all over her,he sicks his dog after her, he ties her pet bird to a tree and shoots it with an arrow.. and she still has sex with him willingly?

i cant understand the language at all so im sure im missing something, but why the hell does she hang out with him? that guy is a *beep* *beep* to her

C'mon dude, if you read a little bit about the story (on this board or on other sites) you'd understand that this part of the story is exactely what makes this movie more than just a cheap sexploitation flick.

The cruelty between the young protagonists is an integral part of this story and an important part of the directors message and lends the movie artistic merits. Not only wanted Murgia the viewer to acknowledge that kids are sexual beings before they reach puberty and often have playful intimate or sexual encounters with their peers (or teens a little older) but by showing the cruel (psychological) games between them he tried to contrast the romantic idea of the "innocent" and lovely child/teen that could do no harm to anybody.
Laura is very much in love with Fabrizio and she's attached so much to him that she puts up with all his abuse. When Eva comes into play the rivalry boosts further cruelty and Fabrizio tests how far he can go by pushing Laura to the limits, then comforting her again so she keeps coming back in the hopes he might chose her over Eva. The love triangle kinda mirrors the power structure between adults in a similar situation only that the kind of cruel games they play do reflect their age.
And mental cruelty is one of the most common grounds for divorce these days. Also I'm sure you've experienced similar cruelty or abuse while growing up or you've seen other kids being tormented on a daily basis. I sure have. I've dished out and taken more than I ever could imagine.
I can relate to the story. When I was twelve, me and a friend of mine would make out wildly with a girl from our neighborhood, ironically one of 9 children of a christian preacher. We would take turns (just petting) and eventually one of her sisters became involved too and somehow childish jealousy arose and in the end we happened to treat the first girl, Rahel, badly by playing some cruel games with her too. We certainly were no innocent angels or something. But for the most part Rahel kept coming back.

Btw, the movie title was chosen in this regard, it means "bad adolescence".

that does help a lot, although i still have a hard time beliving that anybody would let themselves be put into that situation over and over..

another question poped up...

is Fabrizio homeless? they show him sleeping in those ruins, he wears the same shirt throughout the entire movie (whereas the girls seem to have a differant outfit on every 3 minutes) and he longingly looks at their homes.

i cant understand how laura can love him. he still seems like a jerk in every scene.. i keep hoping that laura snaps and kills either eva or Fabrizio (im still watching it, only 15 minutes left.. doubtful but it would be a great ending)

overall its a good movie =) i really do wish i could understand the language though lol

ok just finished it... can you please give me a rough idea wtf happened there at at the end? what did he say to get eva all scared before they went to sleep? why did he kill her? did he kill himself too? why did they play the 6 million dollar man type sounds whenever the dog was moving? what generaly did Fabrizio and Laura say there at the end?

that was a confusing enough movie thanks to the language barrier, but that ending really really threw me offguard. lol

umm, I'll try. (You didn't watch it with subtitles?)

what did he say to get eva all scared before they went to sleep?
She was getting scared because it was getting dark and she wanted to go home but he told her that they were lost and he just wanted to stay there, he didn't even want to try and find a way out.
why did he kill her?
Presumably because he didn't want her to leave.
did he kill himself too?
I didn't think he did.
why did they play the 6 million dollar man type sounds whenever the dog was moving?
Chessy sound effects. Was supposed to be scarey.
what generaly did Fabrizio and Laura say there at the end?
She wanted him to leave with her, she said that she wouldn't go home, that she would stay with him in the forest (contradicting everything she'd said so far) but he didn't want to go, he wanted to stay there with Sylvia (after he had already killed her)

Hope that helped

at 12 you were making out with girls? lolollllllllll, oh boy talk about losing one's childhood early on. yah sorry at 12 I was actually A KID thank you enjoying what kids do and playing and taking it easy. why get into that stuff at such an early age is my question. ironically one of 9 children of a Christian preacher? now you are putting religious people down? you think people of faith and religion don't have feelings or don't want attention? something tells me you're an atheist anyway saying that. wow where was your parents (I bet divorced) when you were doing this (or probably on drugs) like you are today. man at 12 making out....hahah.....oh man so glad I was as late bloomer and married late and got married to a girl who wasn't slobbered over on by scavengers like you. God only knows where you are these days in regards to a relationship....haha.....boy this made my day:)

It's simple psychology; for people with low self esteem, the more their abuser rejects them, the more they want to be with that person. and Fabrizio wasn't always cruel to laura; he gave her just enough sweetness to keep her coming back to him. I'm sure if she was older, she would have understood his games, but at age 12, a girl knows little about relationships, and how boys/men think.
