Who is Bandit referring to when he asks Frog "Are you ready Roy?".

I'm not sure who exactly he's referring to, but I know he's probably imitating a character from an old t.v. show or movie.

I almost want to say it's a very poor imitation of Humphrey bogart, I may be wrong but it's possible I guess.

He was doing a Gabby Hayes impression. Gabby made a lot of movies with Roy Rogers.
