Playing 'Old Time Hockey, like Eddie Shore....

And 'Toe' Blake.' Final game the team is instructed to play good, old time hockey....no rough stuff, just skilled hockey. Eddie Shore was probably the DIRTIEST player in NHL history! Lot worse than even Dave Schultz of the Flyers.

dave schultz really wasn't a dirty player, come on. except for hair pulling, which was allowed the first couple of his seasons, what do you offer to support that comment?

I thought that donnybrooks (classic term for bench clearing brawls) were common during the vintage days of pro hockey. Therefore I didn't understand why Reggie referred to clean play as "Old Time Hockey."
