I just saw today that "Rolling Thunder" will be getting a Blu-Ray release in England sometime in October!! I didn't have time to see what the region code was (I think it may have said "B") and was curious to know 1) if anyone knows more about this and 2) will this play on my Samsung Blu-Ray DVD player? shareHaven't seen it, no. The DVD was originally due in like March and kept getting delayed, so I expect this will be the same. Hopefully they're just putting loads of extras on it.
I hope it comes out on dvd as well. I want to see it in a decent transfer.

The Bluray doesn't add much to the quality. I found the film very grainy in places. But then it was made in the 70's...!

Grain adds to the grittiness though. If it would look too clean it wouldn't be so atmospheric.
I like my exploitation dirty looking.
