Good 'Time Capsule' of the 70's

A good but not great film that is in my top five 'Time Capsule' films of the 70's. The large crowds of regular people in the amusement park showing their clothng/hairstyle choices makes this a Time Capsule winner.

Others

1) Saturday Night Fever
2) Jaws
3) Halloween
4) Rollercoaster
5) Car Wash

Can you name some other good Time Capsule films of the 1970's?

Those are all great selections.

I think the Airport movies are interesting. Especially for how people dress for air travel. More formal than today. Traveling by plane was a special event. Today it has all the mystique of riding a bus.

The Bad News Bears movies. Cooley High. Linda Blair in Roller Boogie.

Dawn of the Dead, which takes place in a shopping mall... that always fascinates me for some reason, to remember how malls used to look. Logans Run. Even though that's supposed to take place in the future, it feels like the 1970s.

And the Disney live action kids films are an interesting time capsule. Freaky Friday, Witch Mountain, etc.

Dazed and Confused was shot in the early 90s, but it totally nailed the vibe of 1976.

Dawn of the Dead and The Bad News Bears would definitely be on my time capsule list.

Sat Nite Fever would make the list as well... Man, tons of films could make the list, but only certain ones truly deserve the distinction of being on that list.
