Magic Mountain closing?

I'm from the Uk and was in LA at the end of October and so visited the park. Someone told me that it was going to be closed due to problems with drug dealers there. Were they winding me up? I hope not as I loved it, although I have to say that they clearly designed some of the carriages to accommodate fatties as I was sliding around in some of the seats. I thought I was going to fall out of DejaVu.

Haha!!.... back in 2005 before I lost 120 pounds I couldn't ride several of the Roller Coasters at Magic Mountain cause they couldn't buckle me in... I was so embarrassed:(

Magic Mountain is still going and has some great rollers but they have introduced tougher security checks when you enter the park.

Its that man again!!
