I believe I saw this movie when I was very young. Does the killer die at the ending? Is he ran over by a rollercoaster or near a bomb or something similar to those scenarios?

Yeah, the bad guy got shot by Harry the cop but was making good on his getaway when he climbed up the coaster track and got smacked. Talk about your just desserts!

Although Harry shoots him, the killer is able to run away. He is killed when he climbs up onto the tracks, spots Harry, and freezes, not seeing the rollercoaster approaching from behind. He is struck by the leading car & killed on impact.

Thats strange. He definitely would have felt the coaster coming with the vibrations of the track.
