Devil's Bayou would be a good world for a Kingdom Hearts game.

I was wondering. Devil's Bayou definitely has potential to be a world in a new Kingdom Hearts game. Sora, Donald and Goofy would probably be the size of Bernard and Bianca. Besides Heartless, I see Brutus and Nero as a mini boss. Madame Medusa as a boss would be very interesting. The goal would be for Sora,Donald and Goofy as well as Bernard and Bianca to rescue Penny. Since The Rescuers is pretty underrated they should have Devil's Bayou as a world in order to give the film more recognition.

Any thoughts?

Unfortunately, that's not a practice done by Disney. Disney prefers focusing something that already has recognition and shoving it on one's face until they become sick of it.

It IS a major tragedy, no question, that they sick all their overrated modern sh!t on us, while not once giving film classics like "The Rescuers" the attention they deserve. Sad, sad, indeed.

"Whether a film was a success or not, almost anything that wasn't from before Walt died, a "Princess" film, or "Lion King" or "Lilo & Stitch"-related is pretty much shunned by the company." - IMDb user, SonictheBandicoot on the "Oliver & Company" board.

"The Rescuers" was, of course, made in 1977 (not 1974, as someone here suggested) and Walt died in 1966, nearly ELEVEN YEARS BEFORE this film was released, it has no Princesses in it (neither Miss Bianca nor even the lovely Penny count, simply because neither is officially of a royal blood), and has nothing to do with "The Lion King" or "Lilo & Stitch", as this film was made before either of them, and therefore, none of the characters from those films appear in this one (though there WAS a LION that Bernard accidentally woke in the zoo sequence... :/)

I would love for that to happen. It would have a great touch of comedy.
