AWESOME SONG!!! A video (apparently from the 2012 Blu-Ray; I only got the DVD, which, bizarrely, lacked this feature) on YouTube proved that this song had real potential to be a predecessor to "The Lion King"'s "I Just Can't Wait to Be King" 17 years after the finished film's release...
As good as the finished film was, I can't help but wonder just how neat this song probably would've been included.
I think it could have worked too. It didn't deserve to be cut.

The song was cut because it did not fit the new storyline, obviously. The song was written when the film had a completely different plot and would have been completely out of place in the final film. Doesn't take a genius to figure that out, but hey.
