Why aren't they making another one???
I know there is a 2nd one, and that Eva Gabor passes away, but cant they make a third one. And they should work hard to make it just as good.

Simply because the second one was bad enough. Thank goodness they learned their lesson, even if it was too late.

Actually, what turned out to be the movie "Oliver & Company" was supposed to be a sequel but it didn't pan out. The girl in the movie had her name changed from Penny to Jenny and kept a lot of the same personality traits.
shareI'd feel a bit offended if they tried to do another one personally. You can't do it without Eva Gabor.

Even with Eva Gabor they can't do it. They showed it back in 1990 when they attempted it.

Yeah I know, the second one was terrible. As a kid I actually really enjoyed it which is strange :S

Seriously? Her voice ruined it for me. I just kept imagining this melodramatic Hungarian cougar trying to seduce me, and I wanted to run away.
shareEva Gabor's voice didn't necessarily RUIN this movie (or the second one) for me. But, with or without her, there should be at least another "Rescuers" movie. Or two for that matter. Someone suggested Ariana Huffington (whose voice I personally haven't heard, but they say she sounds just like Ms. Gabor so...) and I think that could very well work. OR if they really are too stubborn to directly replace Miss Bianca's prissball voice, they could kill her off and either simply have Bernard or Bernard and a new partner, or HECK! Even two new mice characters, go on an adventure again.
And while they're at it, they should make the film classically drawn (like the previous two); not yet another CGI blasphemy to Walt's name, and have Penny appear somehow (either that or a similar character)...
But it looks like John Lassetter called quits on all sequels to Disney animated classics, some time ago (with the pathetic exception of "Winnie the *beep* :/)
