Who else supports this "shipping" (or "coupling" or whatever you want to call it)?
Personally, I think it might be interesting to have a spin-off of sorts, in which the two characters meet. Wouldn't that be better than just one more film almost SOLELY focusing on the mice, themselves?

Me too, always happy to find other fellow fans! And I've noticed how aggressive people can be on these boards about people's opinions, but I'm tolerant and accept people's opinions.
Which was your favourite Rescuers movie?
This one by far! The second one was relatively disappointing (especially the ending; We never saw the mice's wedding!!! <:(), though still an...ok, somewhat memorable film at least...
And Penny is just one of the most endearing animated little girls ever! She was definitely a highlight to this film and was sorely missed from the second (even though, alas, I knew it was doubtful the mice would reunite with her, but some part of me still hoped they somehow would meet again in Australia... :/)
They would make a cute couple. I wonder how old they'd be, in comparison to each other. Wouldn't it be about the same age? He seemed to be a few years older than her, but that much time could have passed between the movies.
