Surprised no one has mentioned the Bambi cameo

It should at least be mentioned in the trivia page. The scene after Medusa tells Penny no one would adopt her and she goes outside on the boat to cry. The camera pans down from the sky and we see Bambi and his mother eating grass. Its actually the exact same scene from when Bambi and his mother are eating the first spring grass. Then the mother looks up alarmed. This is right before shes killed.

This incident was part of the trivia section for many years, but it was removed as IMDb.com's updated policies stated that references to other movie needed to remain part of the "movie connections" section.

This was the dark ages if Disney. There are plenty of other animal cameos in this.

Several of the birds we see are reused from 'Bambi' as well, and I swear when Rufus is talking to Penny and they see the clothes lines outside the orphanage window, that background plate was borrowed from near the end of the 'Bella Notte' number in 'Lady and the Tramp.'

"Thanks, guys." "So long, partner."

I always thought the exact same thing.

It's also cool that, not only are this and "Lady and the Tramp" two of my all-time favorite Disney classics, but both have the same release date (June 22), exactly 22 years apart! :)

Pooh appears in the crowd as the camera pans by when Bianca is looking for a partner.

I noticed that scene aswell with Bambi and his mother. I haven't noticed the Pooh cameo I will have to watch it again.

I assume by "Pooh cameo", you mean Penny's teddy?

True. Why no mention?
