Hey all! Wouldn't you all agree there should be a 40th anniversary edition release sometime next year? I certainly think so! I mean, it's been only over four years since it was last released, so that'd be wonderful for it to be re-released! All in favor, reply!

Christ FORBID generally greedy-@ss Pixney continue to shun this flawless classic til the end of time!!! I'll bet their current anti-Rescuers bias is due to a combination of the following: 1. It's clearly 2d animated; not a speck of Pixney's "precious" CG-fücking-I anywhere... and 2. Mountains of cash to wallow in; Pixney will ONLY acknowledge something if it's a guaranteed MONEY MINE!!! Frozen can vouch for that w EASE, but even 2d films like The Lion King, the "Princess" movies (save for Pocahontas, Mulan and ESPECIALLY The Princess and the Frog) and MOST of the films made in Uncle Walt's lifetime (kinda ironic, since they evidentially don't care about the genius in many ways...)
I wonder if Johnny "lASSeter" and his shadier cronies have ever even seen the original Rescuers; either way, they could seriously heed the film's moral about having FAITH in something whether it makes money or not...
