The 'Attack' music cues

Hey there,

This may be a weird question, but I was wondering if anyone knows what other horror movies the "attack" music cues appeared in.

I watched RABID the other night, and every time Rose attacks someone, big crescendos of library music blast. And I've seen a lot of horror movies, so every time I heard them, I thought, "I know I've heard these before."

So if there are any horror movie savants out there, I'm wondering what other (probably low budget) movies these cues appeared in.

Thank you.

I haven't done a comparison, but I'm wondering if the "attack cues," the long-held chords, are the same ones that are at the end of SLEEPAWAY CAMP, the original.

They were originally used in the original Twilight Zone series, but also in Kingdom of the Spiders.

I'm fairly sure these cues were also used quite a bit in 1970's UK Saturday Morning show, 'Tiswas'...

They're in a Monty Python episode, so they're pretty *beep* old! I'd love to know the origin. I saw that someone mentioned the Twilight Zone but I have that on blu-ray and never once heard that particular sting in any episode that I can recall.

That's a great question and it's driving me crazy trying to figure it out... It's for sure not from Twilight Zone, but Kingdom Of The Spiders sounds right. Definitely a 70's jazz/horror style. I'm almost positive that they're the same attack cues from a lot of the 70's Hammer Horror films with Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee..

Some of the cues were used in the 60's Spiderman animated show and yes Kingdom of the Spiders.
