squeaky boots?

I'm not sure if this is the film i'm looking for, but does the character of God in this film signatured by having squeaky boots?

I seem to remember an old film where there was a huge debate whether a man was really god and the squakey boots was somehow meant to imply it was.

Nope. You're in the right place. God walks into the courtroom with squeaky shoes and takes the stand. When he leaves, he is basically invisible, but we still hear the squeaky shoes.
