Teri Garr as Bobbie Landers
Teri Garr really looked terrific in this movie. In fact it makes you kind of wonder why this hot looking blonde is married to an ordinary guy working in a grocery store.

shareIt's obvious!
When she is with him she sees GOD!
When you get older, you'll understand.
P.S. She married Richard Dreyfuss, in C.E.O.T.T.K.
Also with the masculine name of Ronnie, by the way.
IMDb no longer gets my endorsement.
Don't understand your message. Are you sending it to me or the o.p.? And, who is Ronnie?
shareWouldn't Teri Garr play pretty much the same identical roll a year later... In Close Encounters of the Third Kind? Where she's married to a guy who's seeing UFOs and he's going bonkers and Garr's character thinks her husband is going all wackass? Yet she tries really hard to keep the family together?
I mean... Obviously there are differences in Teri's two rolls... "God" being light comedy, "3rd Kind" being dramatic... But the heart of the roll... Pretty damn identical.
Just an observation...
Trust me,
Swan
My, you're nosey, aren't you?
In one 'role' she was Ronnie. In the other she was Bobbie. Two "guy" names.
"It's like I'm talking to my Aunt Sylvia here!"

She looked sexy as hell in this film. This is the best she has looked in any of her films along with maybe Young Frankenstein amd Close Encounters.
shareThey live in Los Angeles, garbage men are married to hot blondes out there. TONS of them out there and they can't all hold out for a rich guy.
