ALTOVISE DAVIS has died
Sammy Davis, Jr's widow. She played Walt Colby's wife in the film. I believe there was a scene in which she shot off her fingers after pointing a gun at a spider on her hand.

That was a heck of a violent scene there but just plain silly that she would even think of shooting them all dead on the floor...there were a whole lot more of those spiders than she had bullets in her gun! She seemed genuinely humble in the movie...enough so that i felt sorry for her & Colby's plight out there on their farm
