I see someone else replied to this and his post was deleted. I have no idea why. The special edition is excellent.
It has both full-frame and widescreen.
It has audio commentary by 5 of the people that made it- John Landis, the 3 guys Zucker, Abrahams and Zucker, and the producer.
It has the theatrical trailer, and more.
I thoroughly enjoyed the special features, and now I know things I never knew about this movie. The Special Edition DVD is worth getting, IMO.
