KFM Was Inspired By The 'Groove Tube'

Remember the Groove Tube? It cam out in '73 and was really the first of this type of parody genre. KFM might have been more popular, but Groove Tube should get the credit for starting the trend. Who can ever forget that clown in Groove Tube? You know, the one that lights up a cigarette and begins to read suggestive and off color stories to the kids watching at home...Kinda like a Bozo pervert...lol

Wow did it really come out in '73? I guess that sounds about right because I remember having seen "Tunnelvision" a long time before KFM came out. All three are not as funny as when they came out because times have changed and also a lot of the jokes refer to aspects of life back then.

I agree, I saw both around the same time on home video thanks to my parents. GT is more hit or miss, but it has some real gems in there. I like the Cramp Easy Lube cooking show and penis puppet.
