I can't be alone in thinking that Jabberwocky is one of the most underrated films ever made, surely? Awesome script, uniformly brilliant performances, beautifully shot, and hilarious. As for Max Wall, well, what can you say? It's a tragedy that so little of his work is available; but he was at his very best here, so that in itself should recommend this little gem to anyone and everyone who appreciates great films.

Absolutely. I was just checking out whether Brothers Grimm was the lowest rated Gilliam movie, I hit the 'Sort by Ratings' button and saw jabberwocky plunge to the bottom! I'm baffled, this movie's great.

The thing is, that people with half a rotten potato for a film sense rate these too. There are even ratings for the first ever Marx bros. movie, which has never been shown! Let's trust our own view, and let the ratings fly by and gyre and gimble, possibly even outgrabe, by themselves

It is very underrated. It had so much to offer, comedy, tragedy, comedy, smelly peasants, comedy, amoeba-brained knights, bad-tempered Innkeepers, monsters, merchants and Deborah Fallender!

Not as insufferable as you Squeeth telling your cats have died in every post. Get over it - we don't care! I hope they were run over by a steamroller or boiled in oil. LOL

Yep - very under rated. A film for REAL Python fans. Not as accessible as Life of Bwian, which of course everyone loves. And therefore, in some ways, better.

I don't think it's underrated. It's okay, but not really that funny.

I just felt there wasn't that much invention in it. Things looked believable, but the story was kind of predictable.
