There has been rumors that Alfred Sole's (the director) cousin Dante Tomaselli is suppose to work on a remake of Alice, Sweet Alice. On Wikipedia it said it was suppose to be realeased in 2009 then it changed to 2010 I havent heard anything since about late 2008. What do u guys think, u think they are going to do it?
shareThere are still murmurings of it being a possibility. While a remake is totally unnecessary I hope that if anyone does remake it, it's Tomaselli. His first three films are wholly unique (and bizarre) creations and he's said in interviews that if he were to remake it the original director (his cousin) would be a part of its creation.
Ideally they would just leave the damn thing alone and work on original material.
Before I looked up who Tamaselli was, I was encouraged by your post. I am not opposed to remakes but as you said, there are some that are unnecessary.
