How does Tredoni even know that Alice was conceived out of wedlock??
shareI think the implication is that the congregation would have known about it because Alice's mother had been a longstanding member of that church; that, and they were in a small town, so word travels quickly. I just assumed that it was known by the locals that Catherine and Dom conceived Alice before they were married.
that's what i thought. i guess they could easily do the math.
