I kinda wanna see this movie, but.......

After seeing the Jim Carrey version which absolutely cracked me up with nearly non-stop laughs I want to see the original--my only problem is that it stars "Hanoid Jane" one of this country's biggest traitors.

Still--even anti-american,traitorous ******'s have made good movies every now and then I suppose so maybe I'll still take a look at it--I'll have to think about it for a while longer.

If you thought the re-make was hilarious, you probably will not like the original.

at least the remake didn't have Jane "I hate all americans and want them to die" Fonda....

I'm known for being out of the loop, but I'm pretty sure I never heard her say that....

p.s. I liked the original much better. It's way funnier.

> one of this country's biggest traitors

She was young and naive. She was against the war, not the US soldiers. She just picked a really bad way to show her opposition. Celebrities are often quite clueless like that.

She has apologized and done many good things since then. I say that she can be forgiven.

"Hanoid Jane"
You didn't even get that right. Loser.

what was that line from Porky's that the OP brings to mind? Oh yeah - "you're too ignorant to even be a good bigot..."

reply

I think there have been bigger traitors.
People who lied to get us into war come to mind.
Most of the stuff they keep claiming about Fonda is a lie - give it a rest & see the movie.

Jane Fonda never killed anyone - directly or indirectly.

Why don't you blame the people who were really responsible for the carnage and disaster that was Vietnam - the entire Johnson Administration including a number of high ranking military people and certain members of the military-industrial complex.

You already had your mind made up. You never wanted to see this movie.
You just wanted a little attention on the internet.

Speaking your mind, even if it does not jive with popular opinion, is guaranteed by our Constitution and is not considered "traitorous".
