It's funny, I actually had to Google the word to find out what "adenoids" were.
Boris said his adenoids kept him out of school.
Do kids really stay home from school because of swollen or infected adenoids? Is there contagion involved?
Anyone out there knowledgable about the subject?

Adenoids are glads connected to your tonsils. They are not contagous but however when they become infected along with you tonsils that germ may be. Some children even have them removed along with their tonsils but as you age they become smaller and by age 20 or so you dont have them anymore.
