The woman who wrote the source novel (Mary Rodgers) wrote another body-swap book called 'Summer Switch' that was made into a TV movie in the eighties. It wasn't, however, a proper sequel to this, as it featured an entirely different cast. She wrote another book about the same characters called 'A Billion For Boris' that was also made into a TV movie in the mid-eighties.
'Freaky Friday' is the only film of her books that was any good, the other two were rather poor.
