When they switch back

Yeah, I didn't like that. Obviously it was done as a gag because they were both hoping to be out of the situation they were in, but it would have been more consistent if they swapped minds back again and the bodies stayed put.

I was just watching it now. thinking same thing. a goof in plot they let slide.

Then we wouldn't have had those funny and crazy stunts if they had only switched minds back.

Because the wish was different. The first time they simultaneously wished to switch places with eachother for just one day. So their bodies stayed put while their minds switched places. The second time they simultaneously wished to have their own bodies back. That's a different wish. Hence the different result. Because they specifically ask for their bodies back the second time, their bodies switch places rather than their mind's. It was obvious to me.

It was for the humor to see the mother water ski and the daughter drive.
