Okay, I couldn't follow the logic in this story for a couple of reasons

first, in the scene where Ma Otter said to Heddy "Emmet is going to have a guitar with a mother of pearl inlet this Christmas"

that was a nice thought, but since the contest was Christmas Eve at night, what store would have been open to buy it?

and also, in the scene where Harrison Fox was announcing the Riverbottom Band, how did the band have the time to set up all of that equipment in the short amount of time that he was announcing them?

any ideas?

It's a small town and they all know each other. The store owner would have been at the show, and I'm sure he would have gotten it for her if she'd won. And as far as set up is concerned, maybe they had it set up on wheels, wheeled everything out, then slid it off the wheels. Squirrels are pretty fast, I'm sure they worked backstage and could have done it quickly.
