I was just a kid when I saw this on TV. The birth scene stuck with me and was definetly unsettling. I can't remember a whole lot about the movie but anything with machines having controll is scary. Haven't seen it in a long time.

I have exactly the same graphic gruesome memory. I was 8 when it came out on television and it scarred me deeply.
I do not have the guts to see this again as a result.
I actually saw this in a drive in at the age of 8. My mom used to take me, thinking I'd fall asleep.
Also seen at the drive-in at impressionable ages: Embryo, Burnt Offerings, It's Alive.
Oh well.
Yeah, with the golden-fetus. Scared the crap out me when I was a kid.
It's Alive was more funny than scary.
Burnt Offerings was frightening with Karen Black!

I saw this movie years ago!!! don't remeber the birth...remember she was trapped in the house...and the computer with that syringe>>>>>creepy... very creepy
