The Landmaster in a TV series before Damnation?

I always remember when I was younger watching some TV show that had a vehicle that looked the same as the Landmaster. I remember the vehicle painted white and much more streamlined and traveling through the desert.. I think it was some sort of futuristic show. Seem to remember a guy and girl wearing outfits similar to what they wore in Buck Rogers!

Anyone have an idea?

The show you are thinking of is Ark II, which was a Filmation Saturday morning live action series from 1976-1977. The two vehicles are simliar. Here is the opening of Ark II which shows the vehicle:

The Ark is a super-futuristic spacecraft on wheels (Built on a Garbage Truck frame by the Brubaker group) and Landmaster is an oversized Armored Personnel Carrier with an unusual drive wheel setup (Built entirely from scratch by Dean Jefferies)

A page about Ark II including a link to "Blueprints" for the machine.

A very good and detailed page on Damnation Alley's Landmaster

Interestingly, the front end of the Ark was Re-Used for a couple of later Filmation TV Series'.. "Space Academy" and "Jason of Star Command" (A Spin-off of Space Academy)

There was also an episode of Battlestar Galactica (original series) that featured some kind of strange land vehicle on a desert planet. I think that one had treads if I remember.

Yes, that was the "Landram" or "Amram" or something like that.
