I cant believe this film is not on DVD yet

Its been 33 years now and they just released a special edition DVD of "Kingdom of the Spiders" with William Shatner...time to get this one done too, its been too long -

There may be some rights issues involved. While the film was produced by 20th Century Fox in 1977, the rights were sold since then (perhaps several times). Anchor Bay was preparing a release around 2005, but they went bankrupt I believe. Whoever bought the assets of AB probably has the rights, unless Fox got them back somehow.

You have to find it on the grey market. Try the Internet. Try looking at, www.freewebs.com/vhs2dvd.

It's fairly easy to find in fullscreen, but I've never been able to find a widescreen copy.

Edited to add: Until yesterday. :)
