The worse part of this movie, is something truly irritating....
The worse part of this movie is that fake accent of George Peppard's. It would have been much better if he had not tried it. It was simply irritating.

Just watched it for the first in 15yrs and even though some of it's special effects are laughable compared to today's effects but i still love the movie. But I agree 100%
that his accent is annoying and is not needed cause George Peppard has a authoritative kinda voice.
He made the same mistake in 'Race for the Yankee Zephyr' (aka 'Treasure of the Yankee Zephyr). He turned in a phony accent that was absolutely unnecessary. That being said, if you're a fan of his, I definitely recommend you watch the movie.
