It will be interesting to see who they cast for the remake. She's too old for the role now but the girl who played in My Girl (think her name was Veda) would have been great for Tatum O'Neils part. I can't think of any other popular child actors that could fit the bill. The best part of the original is that most of the characters were relatively unknown, yet they were good actors. I'm skepticle but I hope the remake does the original justice.
