Just noticed something interesting.......

While I watched this again the other day, I noticed that Engelberg mysteriously disappears during a few scenes. When the team is practicing at the first park in Houston, Engelberg is catching when Ronzanni hits Tanner with a pitch. When a fight ensues, Engelberg is there getting stepped on. When Mike Leak comes out to address the team, he is now gone. He also is not at the restaurant they eat at or in the car when they arrive at the second ballpark. I also realized that he is not in the team photo in the newspaper. I never noticed this before and it sruck me as odd. Anyone else ever notice this?

I watch this agin the other day, I notice that as well.

Perhaps that scen was one of the last to be shot. Towards the end of production.

After that scen Engerburg did not show up until the next pratice.

I noticed the batting helmet barely fit on his head. That and the bat he was using looked small compared to his size.

But to be perfectly honest I was focusing most of my attention on William Devane especially when he was running around in those short-shorts. ;)
