In the first two movies, Tanner was such a total bigot. He tries to compensate for himself by putting other people down, and his fights and shouting matches get old quickly. Either he has been raised like this, or he just isn't a good kid. I tried to take his comments lightly, but the following just threw me over the edge.

Tanner: "Hey I called that bed."
Carmen: "Nobody called anything."
Tanner: I CALLED IT RIGHT WHEN I CAME IN, YA DUMB W**!" (Then they fight.)

Oh god, that ticked me off SO badly. He's got a total foul mouth, and in the movie, someone shoulda shut him up.

It's because of uptight PC morons like the OP that I soooooooo long for the good 'ol days back in the late 70's and 80's. What a carefree and glorious time it was not having to listen to your kind bitch and moan over issues that are, in reality, NON ISSUES. Idiot.

I thought Tanner's mouth was a little cleaner for the second Bears movie. I swear I saw in an old magazine that actor Chris Barnes and his parents were upset about negative publicity after the first movie and they wanted Tanner to swear less. I guess they were not as concerned about ethnic slurs.

The first movie was the best. BNBBT is a good follow-up. The third sucked ass. Tanner Fan Club!
