Did they think we wouldn't notice the new Engelbert?

Judging my the comments on this board, yes, they thought that and were almost right. I never noticed.

You mean they replaced an actor from one movie and cast someone else in the same role in another? That never happens:

Iron Man 2
The Mummy 3
Toy Story 3(Slinky the Dog voice)
Bewitched

To name a few.

They replaced him because between the two movies the original actor lost a lot of weight and didnt fit the character profile any more.

I was still fairly young when I saw the first and second movies, but I honestly didn't notice the switch. You did catch that most of the team had grown a foot, so he kind of fit in.

Same here. I didn’t notice a different actor either .. I’m disappointed in myself now lol.. these movies are great - by far the best little league movies ever made
