The ending Jack's relationship

When the show ended did Mr Furley finally figures out he been lied to or does he just think Jack has been turned?

Don't recall last season so unsure if he was even still on it.

In the final episode, Jack tells Furley he's moving in with a girl. He says that being around such a macho guy like Furley all these years rubbed off with him and Furley is proud of Jack for converting.

converting lol

I wonder how Mr. Roper would've taken the news about Jack "converting". Probably not as well as Furley did.

reply

I don't think Roper would have been upset. Furley seemed dumb enough to believe it, but Roper would have probably said, "I knew it!" After all, Roper would have seen all of Jack's various dates coming and going from the apartment. He had to get suspicious at some time.

That was TOTALLY unrealistic rad! A gay guy would NOT keep taking hot single women up to his place ALONE! But they let it slide for the sake of the storyline.

Jesus NEVER existed! He is Judeo Christian MYTH!

In "Good Old Reliable Janet," in the final scene where the group are standing on Mr. Roper's doorstep, Jack is completely giving his proclivities away in front of Mr. Roper, who seems completely oblivious. (One could say he's preoccupied with worry over his wife, but it doesn't play that way.)

I love when Jack wants to give Furley a hug in that episode and he was like, "Oh, what the hell? You're cured!!!" and gives him a hug lol.

Furley started looking at Jack as a son. They could have clued him in a few years earlier, and they would have been fine. The pretending to be gay thing got old pretty fast. Roper owned the building and had his own issues, but Furley managed the building for his brother, who never showed up at the building.
