When they aired the show a couple months back on Antenna I managed to get through both seasons.

I have to say it seemed the show started to find its footing towards the second half of Season 2. The final episode with Helen's mother having her funeral while still alive was pretty hilarious.

Jeffrey Tambour being doped up on pain meds was hysterical. It all flowed so much better.

Maybe it could have been a success had the network keep it going another year.

Anyone agree?

The Ropers spinoff was better than the Rogers spinoff.

The Rogers has never aired on Antenna TV.

I don't recall The Roger's spinoff. Did it focus on King Friday and Lady Elaine Fairchild as they raise their kids in the Neighborhood of Make Believe?

I remember Janet nicknamed Mr Roper, Mr Groper in one of the pilot episodes.

It was pretty boring and it didn't have the youthful appeal/energy going for it.
