A guy is having an affair with his secretary (They have sex in a phone box at one point).Eventualy he kills his wife & goes to work to tell his lover.
She doesnt know what he is talking about and the twist is that everything before the murder was a dream.
Cant remember who was in it but if anyone could help,This has bugged me for years!

It was a "Hammer House of Horror" story and starred Denholm Elliot...
He dreamt he was having a wild affair with his secretary, but in real life she was all prim and proper

The "Hammer House of Horror" episode is called "Rude Awakenings".

I liked the Hammer House of Horror series, but I remember at the time I watched that episode it got a little frustrating because you never knew when he was dreaming and when he wasn't - until right at the end.
