I have a memory of a horror story from some kind of horror anthology series like Night Gallery etc. but i'm not sure what show its from.

There was this little kid and they lived in a farmhouse or a secluded house with their parents...and somehow the kid was talking to aliens and the aliens were going to come visit and kill her parents?

Does any of this sound familiar? I remember seeing this as a kid and it freaking me out. I think it was 70's or early 80s...

It doesn't sound like a tales of the unexpected, twilight zone, Hammer house of horror, Hammer house of mystery and suspense, or Thriller.

This is a long shot but there was a 1975 made for TV movie that aired on ABC Wide World of Mystery called "Alien Lover" about a teenage girl (Kate Mulgrew) contacting an alien via her TV set. I didn't see the whole movie but it ended with her brother accidentally transmitted to the alien's planet - I think after he found out the aliens wanted to take over Earth. Now knowing this, she sent a signal allowing the alien to be transmitted to her house. She introduces the alien to her mother (or maybe both her parents) and he smiles a very sinister smile. Fade out.
