Curits's escape was a bit unbelievable. Under the pretext of driving a bunch of Belgian Hitler Youth to Brittany, he actually drives to Switzerland. Like, wouldn't any of those kids shout "you're going entirely the wrong way"? Or try to call for help from any Germans or Gendarmes that they pass?

Doesn't he say it's a quicker route due to convoys to them?

It IS truly quicker to get to Saint Nazaire from Brussels via Zurich......apparently!

I have to agree, it was one of the few weak points in the series and the believability of it wasn't helped by the use of a Renault TN6 bus which had a top speed of about 50kmh.
