Another incomplete movie about blacks

It never ceases to amaze me how entertainment never gets it right. Sure. It might get some of it right. But somehow, blacks are glorified in the end. I have seen a side of black people that is rarely shown in Hollywood. I grew up near those neighborhoods and remember well how my parents had to call the police more often than not. Nothing but black women swearing at their children. Men (and sometimes women) fighting in the streets. Gangs hanging out in the streets, blocking traffic. Yelling words like Mutha *beep* and calling women hoes. This is far from isolated occurrences. Once I grew up, I moved around in various locations. Somehow, blacks moved in next to us. And the same continued. Riots in the streets. Cranking up rap music at 2am. Black boys bringing white trash home to do drugs.

People must really be dumbed down these days to believe that there is any real equality. It's an illusion. Blacks themselves are the reason for celebrating "Black History Month". Ever seen a White History Month? What do you think would happen if you did? They keep racism alive to avoid being truly equal. They wear their own clothes. Raise families in ways that aren't exactly "domestic". I have seen half black people go full black when the "bruthas" come around. There is no doubt that they are a different species altogether.

All in all. If you're going to portray a truth surrounding black people, show the whole thing. It's a normal day's occurrence to see them fighting like gorillas. Everything about them is unlike white people. Hence the reason why so many black comedians do white parodies. We are not the same. We don't think the same. We don't behave the same. Therefore, there is no EQUALITY. There can never be. So make all the black, liberal movies you like. They will never tell both sides. racism is here because it's NATURAL. They lived on a different continent for a reason.

I'm sure some whiny azz will get on here crying racism and prejudice...blah blah blah. Obviously they have never experienced what I have. I am just reminding people of the cold hard reality that will never go away.

And black stand-up 'comedians?' If I had a dollar for every time I've heard "Do you ever notice how white people..." I could retire by 50.

You have it SO rough. Gosh darn.

As if those harmless, cheesy stand ups skits even compare to minstrel, blackface, racist cartoons about African Americans that have existed for the past century. They even came in kitchen supplies, postcards and souvenirs.

Some of you white americans have absolutely no humility in you to have even a tad bit of self deprecation.

You guys are proof that racism is alive and well.

I could go off on you, but all I'm going to do is pray for your hateful hearts. God bless.

reply

Glad YOU DID BOT GO OFF ON THEM. JUST SOME POOR BROKE WHITE TRASH LOOKING FOR A REASON TO BLAME THE WORLD AND BLACK PEOPLE FOR WHY THEY ARE MESSED UP IN THE GAME OF LIFE.

reply

Lol. Historically black people have the worst image in movies and television since entertainment's conception, and you're claiming they are shown in a glorified light? And posting this nonsense on a movie about slavery?

Some of you really do live in an alternate reality.

reply

Why would they show rap music being cranked up? The second series ends in the 1960s. How could they be listening to rap music before it existed? That doesn't make sense.

reply

It never ceases to amaze me how trolls like you love to bash good movies and shove your opinions down other peoples throat who enjoy the movie to make us feel guilty for liking the movie.

I am going to ignore the bulk of your racist rant and just focus on your point about whether the blacks in this film were portrayed accurately. They were SLAVES. They did not have the free will necessary to allow them to act in any way other than the way their owners told them to. Would their owners have allowed them to act in the way you claim black people do now? If you use your brain cell and have a good, hard think about it, I think you'll answer your own question.

I know it upsets you that the black characters look noble in comparison to the white ones in this movie, but if you want to blame someone for that, look to your forefathers, not the black community.

The rest of your post is too insane to bother addressing. Luckily, people who think like you are a dying breed. There are few people who have the energy or the inclination to be so hateful.

At least you're self aware.

Can't stop the signal.

I don't think that blacks are your problem. Your problem is ni66as and you are getting them confused with each other. All blacks are not ni66as and all ni66as aren't black. Ni66as come in all colors, shapes and sizes. Have you ever considered the fact that you might be a ni66a, yourself? There's some reason that they keep following and moving next door to you. Like sticks to like. Another problem you seem to have is thin walls if you can hear your neighbors listening to rap music at 2am.
