Eleanor Davis (librarian/Julie/Agen t 67) ['Fugitive' Ser.4; Ep.3] =AKA?!

I am mystified! Is this actress known by another name?!

I ask this as I have found out that, in the above episode of 'The Professionals', actress Eleanor Davis played the female librarian, as undercover CI5 agent named 'SixSeven'/'67'/Julie.

However, she has a very TV-familiar face. But I cannot place her/remember in what programmes I have seen her. I have a vague feeling it may have been 'Lovejoy' but can't be sure.

Her IMDB webpage [Eleanor Davis (III): www.imdb.com/name/nm3079909/] states - bizarrely - that the only role she has EVER! played in the world of TV/film is that 1 small part in this 'The Professionals' episode ('Fugitive' - Series 4 - Ep. 3 - 1980).

I find it very unlikely that this is the only role she ever played, as most actress would normally try a few! parts before giving up/moving into theatre/etc. for one reason or another.

And her face as an actress does look very familiar. In fact the name 'Eleanor' rings a vague bell.

My conclusion is that she probably changed her name & has since acted under a pseudonym. Which means that IMDB will have her cited under 2 entries/bio's!

I have of course Googled for info (including at Google Images) but have as yet found nothing interesting.

'The Prof.' is currently being rerun on UK TV Freeview channel ITV4.

Can anyone help with this? She appears in this 'The Prof.' episode, a few times, playing the librarian/undercover CI5 agent at the front desk (with whom Bodie [Lewis Collins] was flirting about the Chaucer book).

Seemples!

After some more trawling of the Net I have discovered - at last! - that she is in fact 'Eleanor DaviD' (not 'DaviS')!

P.S. I was right re 'Lovejoy'- she was in that series! And 'Midsomer Murders', & 'The Ruth Rendell mysteries'; which explains why she looks so familiar.

(Hey ho! All for the sake of a sepllign(!) error by the production team for 'The Professionals', back in the day! )
