Someone (an ex?) was trying to scare her and this was one of the tactics. I think it might be the same episode that her kids received T-shirts in the mail that burned them when they put them on?

Can't rememeber the name of the ep but the character was called Susan I think, she worked in publishing office and came from an upper middle class family but it turned out someone she worked with was her real father and I think he was being blackmailed. I thought she and Bodie were going to be an item in it. It's called Cry Wolf a quick search reveals and it was screened in 1982 according to iMDB but I thought it was late 70's.
