shareSo saddened to hear this i always liked Lewis as an actor RIP big guy
sharePuts his role in The Grimleys (SAS tough guy dealing with being diagnosed with cancer) all the more poignant
shareA true childhood hero. This was a great show, before the PC maddness set in tv land.Even now this show stills holds up(apart from the fashions of course)and i can`t remember a British cop/action series to come anywhere near it.The show had everything you could wish for.Lewis as Bodie was immense in that 3 way partnership and the interplay between them all was top notch. He had a brooding air about him that suited the character and yes he would have been a great Bond.I know this sound outdated and prehistoric, but a real man`s man,but in a good way.To think there was only 57 episodes. Why don`t ITV put this on the main channel instead of hiding it on ITV 4.They still have not shown The Klansman episode--they are probably to scared of the reaction!
shareAwful news, RIP.
