So I think that CI5 comprised 6 people.
There were others who popped up in various episodes.

There were many other agents appearing in 1 or sometimes more eps, some even with deeper characterization plus staff like secretaries, IT experts (from 1980-on) and even psychologists/evaluators. In fact I would go as far as to say that CI5 was quite a bit more heavily staffed than contemporary (or thereabouts) cop shows like the way more expensive Miami Vice!
