My name is ross and paul is my middle name, i was named after Poldark, Ross as the first name and Paul because of Pol is was named for my middle name.

My twin sister and I were named after the characters Morwenna and Rowella on the show.

One of my cats is named Clowance, another is named Angharad.

There are some really unusual names in the Poldark series of books. I wonder where the author got Clowance from? I'd never heard of it before reading the novels. Perhaps he made it up. Cuby is another name I've never come across. Though I believe Demelza was a place name that he saw in Cornwall.
