The Last Kiss of Summer, Part Two

Superb conclusion to the two-parter about Joe tracking his fiancé's killer. There is a lot to like in this one, but the conclusion is the big highlight for me. Joe's trap is sprung and police close in on the bad-guy (with Frank appearing briefly for some of the physical action). And Joe? Joe doesn't even bother to show up for the arrest. He's lost interest in his vengeance quest. It won't bring her back. When Frank shows up to tell him the news, Joe's not all that bothered. And it's a great ending to a great two-hour story.

Why do I hear the music of Bread playing in the background?

reply

Is that a Bread song that they keep playing over and over (for the flashbacks)? I had no idea.

I wonder what the connection is between Bread and the show? David Gates and Bread apparently guest star in a later episode.

I used to havwe a recording of it by Telly Savalas. It was far worse than anything Shatner ever did.
